Refund Policy

Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

We do not offer return options for custom-made, tailor-fitted mats and cannot cancel an order once it has been placed. Once an order is submitted, it is immediately sent into production and cannot be canceled. By placing a custom order, you confirm your purchase. Please note that all our mats are specifically customized for your vehicle based on the order form.

Refunds are only processed for mats that do not fit your vehicle after you have followed the instructions below and after a replacement product shipment fails to resolve the issue.

Due to the customized nature of our products, which have no resale value once returned, we charge a restocking fee of 40% of the original order value to cover materials and craftsmanship if customers insist on returning custom-made items despite the offer of a free replacement product that resolves the issue.


Installation Instructions for Your Maplecars Mats

If you experience issues with installing your mats, don’t worry; it is usually due to incorrect installation. Please follow the steps below for proper installation:

  1. Remove any mats already in the car.
  2. Push the driver’s seat all the way back.
  3. Push the driver’s seat all the way forward.
  4. Place the Maplecars mats in the correct location.
  5. Repeat the same process for the passenger seat mat.
  6. Push the back seat all the way forward to maximize the floor space.
  7. Place the mats on the floor; they should fit immediately.
  8. Attach clips where necessary.
    • Clips are included but do not need to be used everywhere, only where required.
    • For areas where clips cannot attach, use Velcro strips to secure the mats in place.

Installation is now complete.

If you continue to have issues with installation, email us at help@maplecars.ca with your order number and photos/videos of the mats installed in the specific car for which they were ordered. We will provide a solution after our expert team reviews the installation issues.


Refunds and Replacement Process

In most cases, we will send a free replacement set that fits correctly after our investigation. If the replacement product still does not resolve the issue, we will issue a full refund.

We appreciate your patience during the investigation process.


No Returns for Design or Color Preferences

Please note that we do not accept returns due to personal preferences, such as dissatisfaction with design or color. As the set you ordered is customized for your vehicle, Maplecars does not accept return requests based on dissatisfaction with design or color. Ensure you choose the correct color for your vehicle and confirm that you are happy with your selected color/design before placing your order. If in doubt, email us at help@maplecars.ca to request photos and videos to confirm your design and color choice.

Our products are manufactured with a strong focus on quality and craftsmanship, while remaining competitively priced—a combination that delivers excellent value to our customers.

At Maplecars, we do not accept returns or issue refunds based on perceived product quality, thickness, or whether the mats cover door sills or steps. Our custom-made mats are designed to fit your vehicle based on its original specifications.

Please note:

  • Thickness and material feel are part of the product’s intended design and manufacturing standard, and are not valid reasons for return.

  • Coverage of door sills or steps may vary between vehicles. If your vehicle model does not include door sills in the interior design, the mats will not cover them—and this is not considered a defect or reason for return.

We provide detailed photos and videos on the product page that clearly show the expected fit and coverage. If you're unsure whether our mats meet your expectations please email us at help@maplecars.ca before ordering—we’re happy to help you confirm.


Door Sill Coverage

We do not offer coverage for door sills as part of our custom mats due to the extensive production time and higher costs involved, which have frequently resulted in customer dissatisfaction. Our goal is to provide affordable mats to our customers, and including door sill coverage would significantly increase the price. Additionally, door sill production is complex and time-consuming, leading to long wait times that many customers find unacceptable. This is not considered a defect or reason for return.


Return Requirements

  • An agreement must be made between the customer and Maplecars regarding the return request.
  • The product must be returned in its original packaging, unused, and undamaged.
  • If the returned product requires revision, we reserve the right to adjust the design and send a free replacement product.
  • A restocking fee of 40% of the original order value will apply to cover materials and craftsmanship for returned custom-made items.

Order Accuracy

Please ensure that your vehicle details and shipping address are correct when placing your order. Maplecars.ca is not responsible for errors in vehicle selection or delivery address during the ordering process.


Lost Packages

In case of a lost package, the customer may choose to receive a free replacement product.


Order Refusal

Due to the custom-made nature of our products, we cannot accept order refusals at the time of delivery. Every mat set is made specifically for your vehicle and begins production immediately after the order is placed. If you choose to refuse delivery of your order, please understand that:

  • The product will be destroyed upon return due to its lack of resale value.

  • No refund will be issued for refused orders under any circumstances.

  • Refusing a custom order is treated as a forfeiture of your purchase.

We strongly encourage you to contact us at help@maplecars.ca with any concerns before deciding to refuse a package. Our team is here to help resolve any issues with fit or delivery in a timely and fair manner.


Returns/Unclaimed Packages

If you fail to collect your package upon delivery or if the package is returned to us for any reason, we will reship the package to your desired address at no additional cost.

Reshipping may take up to 30 days (return and reshipping time).
